Workshop ”Entrepreneurial training in the Finnish VET: from Futures Literacy to Future Skills & Decision-making”

Tampere Region Vocational College TREDU held the Futures Day 2020 workshop ”Entrepreneurial training in the Finnish VET: from Futures Literacy to Future Skills & Decision-making” 3-4.3.2020, while the discussing about the workshop ideas is conducting in TREDU since February 2020.

The TREDU Futures Day workshop was dedicated to creating the Finnish – Russian Network for future-oriented vocational education (FOVE) in the field of entrepreneurial culture and innovation activity of college students. The experts of TREDU have discussed the project main purposes and cooperation agreement approaches with Tatyana Knyazeva, the expert of Leningrad Regional Institute of Education Development “LOIRO” (Russia). The LOIRO coordinates the education network of Leningrad region including the eight colleges oriented to future skills and futures literacy development in vocational education and training.

Since December 2019, Tampere Region Vocational College TREDU has begun development of concept of future-oriented vocational education in the frameworks of Tampere regional strategy, vocational education reform purposes, and according to WORLDSKILLS priorities. The key idea of this VET-project: ”Smart City & Quality-of-Life: from Futures Literacy to Future Skills & Decision-making”.
